The Cathedral Parish joyfully welcomed Deacon Jeevan Machado and the newly appointed Sisters from the various religious communities into the Cathedral parish family. Their arrival marks a new chapter of pastoral service and spiritual collaboration, strengthening the mission of the Cathedral in proclaiming the Gospel and serving God’s people. The parish community gathered to extend a heartfelt welcome, assuring them of prayers, support, and fellowship as they begin their ministry.
Welcome one another, therefore, just as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.

The welcoming ceremony was held in the presence of the parish community, where Deacon Jeevan Machado and the Sisters were introduced and warmly received. The faithful expressed their gratitude for their willingness to dedicate themselves to the service of the Church and prayed that God would bless them with wisdom, strength, and grace in their new responsibilities.
During the gathering, the newly elected Youth Office Bearers were also formally introduced to the parish. They were welcomed and encouraged to lead the youth with faith, commitment, and enthusiasm, inspiring young parishioners to actively participate in the life and mission of the Church.
The occasion also provided an opportunity for the new Youth Office Bearers to extend a warm welcome to the Dean of the Cathedral. On behalf of the youth and the parish community, they expressed their gratitude for his guidance and leadership, assuring him of their cooperation and support in strengthening the faith and unity of the parish.
The celebration concluded with a prayer of thanksgiving, followed by fellowship among the clergy, religious, youth representatives, and parishioners. The joyful gathering reflected the spirit of communion and collaboration, as the Cathedral parish family embraced its new members and looked forward to serving Christ together with renewed hope and dedication.
