About the Catechism Association

The Catechism Association is dedicated to the religious education and faith formation of children and youth in our parish. Through structured catechetical instruction and spiritual guidance, the association helps young members understand the teachings of the Church and grow in their personal relationship with Christ.

The association plays a vital role in preparing children for the Sacraments and guiding them toward a committed Christian life.

To build a generation of well-informed, spiritually rooted, and responsible Catholics who live out their faith with conviction and integrity.


Mission

  • To provide systematic instruction in the Catholic faith.

  • To prepare children for the Sacraments of First Holy Communion and Confirmation.

  • To encourage regular prayer and participation in the Holy Mass.

  • To instill Christian morals and values in daily life.

  • To nurture leadership and active involvement in parish life.


Catechetical Formation

Classes are conducted regularly (usually on Sundays or designated parish days) and are organized according to age groups or levels.

The curriculum includes:

  • Sacred Scripture and Bible study

  • Teachings and doctrines of the Church

  • Sacramental preparation

  • Prayer life and devotional practices

  • Moral and value formation

  • Understanding of liturgy and Church traditions

Regular attendance and participation are strongly encouraged to ensure meaningful faith development.


Activities & Initiatives

The Catechism Association organizes:
